Mobile App Developer

As well as expert knowledge of C# you will have experience with creating mobile apps from conception to implementation, working alongside QA, product and implementation teams. The ability to work well with others and communicate your ideas is essential. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications as well as designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Hours: Full time, permanent. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

GIS & Route Optimisation Consultant

We seek an enthusiastic and experienced GIS user to become an active member of the ISL Client Services team delivering consultancy, implementation and support to clients. We will build on your current GIS experience and make you an expert in the implementation, use and support of RouteSmart-for-ArcGIS, RouteSmart-on-Line, RaaS and SmartSuite plus related GIS software such as Network Analyst and ArcGIS Pro. Alongside delivering effective training, mentoring and consultancy services to ISL's customers you will assist the sales & marketing teams conducting demonstrations, webinars, seminars, events, etc. Our client list includes public & private sector organisations in the municipal, utility and parcel & postal markets in the UK, Europe, Middle East, North Africa and North America. As an Employee Owned Trust you will become a beneficiary and have a direct input into the operational and strategic direction of the company. Location: Hybrid role with extensive UK and some overseas travel. Integrated Skills offices - Melton Mowbray, Leeds (HQ), St Peters Port (Guernsey)

Hours: Flexible with core hours between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties

Duties:

  • Deliver training and mentoring for ISL customers in RouteSmart and ESRI software.
  • Support ISL’s sales activities including demos and presentations.
  • Deliver training and support for SmartSuite clients.
  • Foster beneficial relationships with ISL’s consultancy customers.
  • Deliver technical support for RouteSmart and related systems (including SmartSuite).
  • Lead consultancy projects under the direction of the Client Sevices Director.
  • Manage workloads and maintain quality standards
  • Develop and maintain specialisms in the Waste Management and Postal sectors, plus relevant Esri extensions and Apps
Requirements

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject (environmental/GIS).
  • At least 2 years’ relevant work experience with evidence of technical expertise.
  • Well-organised with good people and project management skills, initiative, good staff and client communication skills.
  • Aptitude to develop advanced skills in RouteSmart and ArcGIS, RaaS & SmartSuite.

Desirable:

  • Training in ArcGIS and relevant extensions and quality control.
  • Experience in the fields of GIS, waste management and related software/IT systems.
  • Problem solving.
  • Advanced ArcGIS skills and knowledge of other GIS systems, eg, QGIS.

Environmental & Waste Management Consultant

Integrated Skills Limited are now seeking an experienced Environmental & Waste Management Consultant to join their team based in Leeds. Reporting to the Managing Director you will work independently sourcing and servicing clients in the environmental permitting & planning sector

Hours: Full time, permanent. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Duties

Duties:

  • To prepare and submit Environmental Permit applications on behalf of a range of waste operators. This will include preparing Environmental Management Systems, Management Plans (Odour, Fire, Dust, Noise for example), Site Plans and supporting documentation
  • To prepare and submit planning applications on behalf of a range of waste operators. This will include preparing Planning Statements and liaising with technical specialists on matters such as
  • Traffic, Contamination, Ecology, Landscape, Noise, Air Quality, Archaeology for example
    For both permit and planning applications, the role will consist primarily of hands-on project management including dealing with inquiries, responding to statutory consultees, meeting with officers and attending Planning Committee meetings
Requirements

Requirements:

Driving Licence is required, as travel to client sites, government agency offices and other ISL offices in the UK and Channel Islands will be necessary.

  • Degree or higher in relevant subject and industry certification would be ideal
  • Minimum five years’ relevant work experience in same role
  • Well organised, self-reliant, attention to detail with excellent verbal & written communications skills
  • Proven independent working experience – winning new clients as well as servicing clients
  • Experience of working with the Environment Agency
  • Experience of working with planning authorities
  • CIWM and RTPI membership desirable
