These are typically used by public sector organisations, such as local authorities, to purchase products and services from pre-qualified suppliers, saving time and money compared to entering into individual procurement contracts. Suppliers have to qualify to be placed on these frameworks meeting a set of standards and agree to legal terms to protect all parties involved.
