Stuart Henshaw from CIWM NE Centre – attended the  CIWM Wales Resources Conference in Cardiff, and came away feeling so encouraged by what he saw and heard that he now recommends that anyone feeling disillusioned by their part of the waste management industry should book for next year!

Returning to Leeds after the event, Stuart, who is Business Development Director at Integrated Skills, and leads its wider waste webinar programme, thought that this event was too good not to be shared more widely. Speaking to the team at the CIWM NE Centre, the idea for a CIWM ‘Wales Takeover’ webinar offering the NE Centre Members a flavour of what is happening in Wales, was born. Since then, the CIWM Midlands and CIWM East Anglia Centres have opened up this event to their members too – and any other Centre is very welcome to join in.  This event will be free to join for CIWM Members.

Stuart will be in discussion with Policy-makers, looking back at how this was achieved, and looking forward to furure plans to meet net-zero. He’ll be talking to circular economy educators and innovators who are genuinely moving into new territory!
