Real-time incident management for emergency response
Emergencyworx is Integrated Skills’ cloud-based incident and response management platform, designed to help local authorities, highway authorities and emergency planning teams manage large-scale incidents, extreme weather and day-to-day emergencies.
Built on the same proven, map-driven technology as ISL’s Trafficworx platform, Emergencyworx provides a single, live operational picture of what is happening on the ground – allowing teams to prioritise risks, deploy resources quickly and coordinate a safe, effective response.
Whether responding to storms, flooding, highway obstructions or major incidents, Emergencyworx ensures nothing is missed and that the most critical hazards are dealt with first.
Emergencyworx brings together public reports, control room activity and field operations into a single shared platform.
From the Control Room, users can view all new and current incidents pinned on a map which can then be assigned and reassigned. Operators using the mobile application are also displayed in real-time.
Incidents can be reported by the public and are logged and mapped in real time. Control room staff can instantly see where issues are occurring, identify clusters of activity and assign work to the most appropriate crews.
Field teams receive their incidents on the Emergencyworx mobile app, allowing them to navigate to the location, record actions taken and update incident status as work progresses.
Managers and coordinators always have an up-to-date picture of what has been completed, what is in progress and where further risks remain.
All interactions from creation to completion are recorded within Emergencyworx and can be evaluated whilst the incident responses are in progress and after the completion stage.
Designed for emergency and severe weather response
During major events such as storms, flooding or widespread infrastructure damage, local authorities can be overwhelmed by the volume of incoming reports and the pace of change on the ground.
This digital approach helps reduce duplication, improve coordination between teams and ensure that the most urgent hazards – such as blocked roads, fallen trees and dangerous debris – are prioritised and resolved quickly.
Proven in real-world emergencies
Emergencyworx was successfully used by the Government of Jersey during its response to Storm Goretti, when severe winds caused widespread disruption across the island.
As residents submitted reports of fallen trees, damaged fencing and blocked roads, incidents were automatically captured and mapped in Emergencyworx. Emergency and highways teams used the system to prioritise risks, deploy crews and track progress in real time, helping the island recover safely and efficiently after the storm
This demonstrated how a modern, digital, map-based platform can play a critical role in managing major weather events and protecting the public.
“I was extremely impressed with ISL’s support and how Emergencyworx performed during Storm Goretti. The system’s ease of use, transparency, and single-source functionality gave our teams a clear, real-time picture of incidents across the island. Just as importantly, it provided visibility to the public, helping ensure confidence in our response. Emergencyworx proved to be an invaluable tool in managing the storm safely and efficiently”
