Integrated Skills was represented by Rachel Wildblood on a recent UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) trade mission to Manila, Philippines. The purpose of the UKTI mission was to explore business opportunities and networking, focused on Asian Development Bank’s (ADB’s) Business Opportunities Fair. The fair is run annually and this year over 500 businesses attended, which was a record, with people participants coming from all over Australasia, Europe and North America.

ADB is a high profile development bank implementing loan and grant projects throughout Asia. Integrated Skills has a good track record of working in a number of countries covered by ADB, particularly those in ADB’s Central and West Asia Department, including Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Integrated Skills has particular experience in solid waste management projects in these countries and hopes to continue working for ADB in this geographic area. The Business Opportunities Fair was an excellent opportunity to understand more about ADB’s current and future projects and where opportunities for collaboration lie.
