The Circular Economy has been a topic on conference agendas for years now, and promises to provide new opportunities for the waste & resources industry. But…
- What steps forward have been made?
- How does a Circular Economy model impact on local authority waste & resource managers looking to manage services into the future?
Join Stuart as he discusses these questions with Brian Mayne, a thought leader in the subject, who will set out the key concepts and importantly talk about latest developments resulting from the circular economy approach, and how local authority waste & resources managers can change what they do in response.
Brian Mayne is a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management, a fellow of the RSA, Chartered Environmentalist and an ISWA International Waste Manager. Previously, the regional director (Wales) for Ricardo Energy and Environment, Brian has managed the delivery of local government waste management services, and is also a specialist in marketing, communications and behaviour change. Brian has been involved in the development and delivery of a number of UK wide awareness campaigns and has lectured at Cardiff, Reading, Leeds, Swansea and Aberystwyth Universities.
