Andrzej Gula, MSc – Associate
Andrzej Gula is an environmental economist and financial analyst with a Master's Degree from the University of Cracow. His primary experience is in the preparation of feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for public infrastructure projects, and in investment planning and financing of municipal infrastructure investments – wastewater treatment, water supply, waste management and energy generation.
Between 2004 and 2006 he was a member of the Steering Committee for the EU Cohesion Fund – a body set up at the Polish Ministry of Environment to advise the Minister on project selection. Andrzej has practical knowledge in conducting financial and economic assessments of environmental infrastructure projects financed from IPA, Cohesion Fund and ERDF. He also has extensive experience of developing and delivering training programmes on investment project cycle management, environmental economics and financing. Besides his work in Poland, he has also worked on a number of projects outside Poland – in Croatia, Moldova, Serbia, Ukraine and Turkey. Andrzej speaks fluent English, Polish and Russian, as well as some Italian.
