Stephen L Willetts, PhD, MCIWM, MCIWEM - Associate Stephen Willetts is a biochemist with a doctorate in chemistry and economics. Prior to entering into consulting, he was an Executive Director and Group Technical Director of Leigh Interests PLC, a major UK waste management and environmental services contracting company. His expertise and experience covers a very wide range of technologies and activities relating to the management of wastes, including the treatment and disposal of industrial hazardous wastes, the incineration of clinical wastes, environmental auditing of waste facilities, quality assurance systems to ISO 9001, the development and operation of sanitary landfill sites, and the development and delivery of waste management training courses. He has recently been appointed visiting professor of waste management at University College, Northampton.
