
James Seymour qualified with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering in 1995 and following his Pt 3 Examination was admitted as a Chartered Structural Engineer in 2001. From 1999-2009 he was based in East Anglia, becoming Senior Director in a regional consultancy. Individual project designs were undertaken for schemes throughout Europe and North America. Particular areas of work were education schemes, including PFI and Framework arrangements, as well as inspection, appraisal and repair of both defective and historic structures. Since returning to his native Guernsey in 2009 he has become Director in the practice with individual projects including cliff stabilisation works and a new bridge.
